Uttarakhand, the crown jewel nestled in the northern reaches of India, boasts the distinction of being the 27th state in the Republic. Established on November 9th, 2000, it emerged from the state of Uttar Pradesh. Spanning an impressive 53,483 square kilometers, its majestic landscape unfolds between 28°44' and 31°28' North Latitude and 77°35' and 81°01' East Longitude.
